Breaking: Andrei Svechnikov Will Have Season-Ending Knee Surgery
The Carolina Hurricanes, who are currently number 2 overall in the standings, have just lost Andrei Svechnikov due to a season-ending knee injury.
According to NHL insider Chris Johnston, Andrei Svechnikov will have the surgery on Thursday.
Carolina is currently in a good place for a deep run in the Playoffs, hopefully losing Svechnikov will not drastically impact the Hurricanes.
