Saddledome to be Demolished
After several calls for a new arena, including by players, the Saddledome will officially be demolished.
A new $1.2-billion development deal will have a new barn built, and the Calgary Stampede will be relocated to the land of the Saddledome.
While it will be great to have a new arena in Calgary, it will be bittersweet to see one of the most iconic buildings in hockey history demolished.
