The Calgary Flames, just like many other teams that didn't qualify for the playoffs, held their exit interviews today.

Mackenzie Weegar had a lot to say after his first season in the Flames' uniform.
The 29-year-old defenseman had a great year in Calgary. In 81 games, he scored 31 points and had a +15 goal differential.

Weegar Calls Out the Flames about the Saddledome

Reports in 2022 showed that the Flames' arena is litteraly falling appart.

Weegar didn't hold back about the arena's issues.
"I think we need a new rink. Maybe that'll help. The Saddledome obviously's got some caracter. Maybe a couple updates could make him look a little bit better" - Mackenzie Weegar

The Flames should really consider moving. Build another arena would make everyone's experience better.
We have reached the point where it affects the team's performances. If players don't like to come into work because of it, it's a good sign that a change is overdue.
