Gary Bettman had a meeting with defenseman Rasmus Andersson and has reached a decision on whether he will be receiving a shorter suspension.

Bettman Decides Andersson's Fate

Recently Rasmus Andersson delivered a dirty hit on Patrik Laine that resulted in a four-game suspension.

Andersson appealed this four-game suspension and had a meeting with commissioner Gary Bettman yesterday to see if he could get fewer games.
Bettman has now made a decision.

With Andersson's suspension being upheld, he will now miss three more games and will also still forfeit nearly $100,000 in earnings.
