This afternoon reports are confirming that legendary announcer Jack Edwards will be calling his last game for the Boston Bruins in his career. The call will come on the Bruins Game 6 matchup against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

According to a report from Fluto Shinzawa Boston Bruins announcer Jack Edwards will call his final game tonight. After tonight's game exclusive rights go to the national broadcasts for further playoff games. As this is Jack Edwards' last season behind the microphone this marks his last game.

Tonight is the final game for Jack Edwards. ABC has exclusive rights if there's a Game 7.

The Bruins iconic announcer has always been met with mixed reactions. He brings passion to Bruins hockey but many feel he is too biased as an announcer. These mixed reactions have continued even after the announcement of his last game.

Often cringeworthy, but I will miss him.

good riddance

Do it for Jack!

Despite his controversial nature throughout his time as the announcer of the Bruins he should be commended. Being an announcer and being talked about for that long is an impressive feat. The game of hockey will miss having Jack Edwards to talk about once he steps away.
