Sheldon Keefe makes unexpected move at practice with the entire team

This morning the Toronto Maple Leafs conducted their final practice before their win or go home Game 6 against the Boston Bruins. At the end of practice Sheldon Keefe did something unusual that the media took note of.

Everyone in Toronto understands what's at stake for the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight. A loss to the Boston Bruins would mean the end of their season. With this reality in mind, Sheldon Keefe did something unusual and addressed the team at the end of practice.

Keefe called a huddle away from the media as practice ended.




According to Maple Leafs reporter David Alter, this is not something that is a common occurrence for Sheldon Keefe when it comes to the end of practice.

With the huge implications of this game, it seems that Sheldon Keefe is trying something new to get his guys engaged before the biggest game of many of their careers. The puck drop between the Maple Leafs and Bruins is scheduled for 8 pm this is when we will see if the new routine will pay off.
