Patrice Bergeron, one of the NHL's Top talents of his generation, and one of the game's greatest defensive forwards, has made a big announcement about the next step in his career.
Bergeron, a Quebec native, got emotional addressing his NHL future in his hometown of Montreal for the Bruins game against the Canadiens.
A 2011 Stanley Cup winner, as well as a 3 time All-Star and record breaking 5 time Selke trophy winner, Bergeron is one of the NHL's most respected talents, and one of it's greatest defensive forwards in it's history.
Bergeron has continued to be a steady player for Boston, having won the Selke just last season, and at 37, has continued to show little sign of slowing down, scoring 21 goals and 57 points this season.
With Boston having broken the NHL wins record, Bergeron continues to be a leader on one of the best teams in Hockey, and has continued to dominate at the same level.
While we may one day see Bergeron's name in the Hockey Hall of Fame, It remains to be seen if, or when, we could see the last of Patrice Bergeron in the NHL.
