Phil Kessel, a forward in the National Hockey League, has been a bit of an enigma throughout his career, and despite the fact that there's no denying his ability, he's never been able to find a long-term home regardless of where he's played.
The Arizona Coyotes fired head coach Rick Tocchet on Sunday, a man who many dubbed "the Kessel whisperer" because of his time as an assistant coach with the Pittsburgh Penguins while Kessel was also a member of that team, and now many are wondering what the future holds for the polarising NHL sniper.
Although Kessel was a very productive forward for them this season putting up 20 goals and 23 assists for a total of 43 points over just 56 games played this season, Friedman cited the Coyotes desperate need for draft picks and prospects as motivation for why this trade could happen.
