With the Edmonton Oilers linked to the likes of Jake Guentzel and Pavel Buchenevich, it was always likely they'd swing a big trade at the deadline, and they've done just that.
According to Pierre LeBrun, a deal is heating up between the Oilers and the Ducks over veteran forward Adam Henrique, who would add much needed depth to the Oilers roster.
Details:
The Ducks are only getting draft picks back in the deal for the two forwards.
In 60 games this season, the 34-year old forward has tallied 18 goals and 24 assists for 42 points, and while he's not the player he once was, he can make a great impact for the Oilers, and gives them even more impressive depth as they look to finally make a Stanley Cup run under Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl.
