Hockey is an incredibly passionate sport. Emotions get high sometimes, and crazy words are thrown around.

There is, however, a line that all players know not to cross. This line generally revolves around a player's family, who have no affiliation to on-ice play.

When Trevor Zegras got caught in a scrum with Troy Stecher, he decided to bring Stecher's father into the fight. Stecher's father passed away in 2020, which made the whole scene even more disturbing. Zegras clearly knew of the passing, as he gestured up to the sky.

It appears Zegras said:

your dads up there watching

What a childish attempt at a hockey scrum from Zegras. He's definitely lost a lot of fans over the past 24 hours.
