BREAKING: 29-Year-Old Retired NHL Tragically Passes Away
A retired NHLer has tragically passed away following a devastating motorcycle accident.
Kerdiles Passes Away
The Anaheim Ducks have announced that Nic Kerdiles, a former Duck, has passed away.
We're heartbroken to hear the news about Nic Kerdiles, who died in a motorcycle accident this morning. An Irvine native, Nic became the first player from Orange County to play for the Ducks, in 2017. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to his family and loved ones.
Kerdiles retired from hockey at the age of 24 to become a full-time real estate agent. He passed away in Nashville early this morning.
Kerdiles was originally selected by the Ducks in the second round of the 2012 draft and played three games with the franchise. He played his final professional game with the Manitoba Moose of the AHL in 2018.
Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this moment. May he rest in peace.
