Atlantic Team Emerges as the Leading Contender for Trevor Zegras
The situation in Anaheim isn't ideal right now. Two of their best players, Trevor Zegras and Jaime Drysdale, still haven't signed contracts for the next season.
Many people thought Zegras would be the face of the franchise for years to come, but it's been reported that the Ducks haven't shown much interest in signing him.
With reports of troubles in the negotiations, many trade rumors have arisen.
Leading Contender for a Zegras Trade Revealed
A recent report suggests that the Buffalo Sabres are keeping a close eye on the Ducks.
The Sabres have an extremely talented young core. With Tage Thompson, Owen Power, and Rasmus Dahlin, acquiring Zegras would make the Sabres one of the most powerful teams in the East.
Zegras could help them significantly in a playoff push this season and for years to come.
The Ducks are being choosy [with Zegras]? They want to break it? I heard there's a team looking that way and it's the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres have to make the playoffs this year and you solve your problem by bringing Zegras.
