Red Wings Move Closer To Securing Top-Three Spot In Atlantic Division

Walman had a lot of reason to celebrate the goal. For one, it set a new career high in goals for him at 11. Second, the extra point from the win tied the Red Wings in points with the Toronto Maple Leafs and gave them a one-point edge of the Tampa Bay Lightning. All three teams are currently in a hard battle for the 3rd spot in the Atlantic division. Getting two points against the League-best Canucks will go a long way to helping the team secure that coveted playoff spot. Be sure to stay tuned for more updates as the Red Wings push for their first playoff appearance since 2016.
