As Canada looks to qualify for a gold medal shot, Finland stands in their way and with Sidney Crosby out, the lineup looks a bit different heading into the semifinal.

With Canada set to face Finland in an Olympic semifinal, things are not going to be as easy considering the team is out their regular captain and heart of the team in Sidney Crosby; who was ruled out with a lower-body injury.
They'll have some new captaincies and a new lineup, but there are also a couple other players who won't be suiting up for the Canadians in the semis -- including one who hasn't played since game one.

Crosby sits along with two others for Canada's semifinal vs. Finland

Elliotte Friedman reports that Crosby, Darcy Kuemper, and Josh Morrissey are all going to be missing the game against Finland:
Morrissey has missed since the first game vs. Czechia, and he hasn't seen any action minus a practice here and there, and if Canada advances it may be unlikely he suits up for the gold medal game.
Here's how the Canadians are going to be lining up against Finland as they look for a gold medal opportunity:
Celebrini - McDavid - Wilson
Horvat - MacKinnon - Jarvis
Marner - Suzuki - Stone
Hagel - Bennett - Marchand
Reinhart
Toews - Makar
Harley - Parayko
Sanheim - Doughty
Theodore
Binnington
Thompson
Canada's first line is still humming along nicely, however there's a big switch up with Horvat heading up to the second line, Suzuki being back in the middle, and Sam Bennett instilled into the lineup instead of Panthers teammate Sam Reinhart.
The defense stays the status quo with Makar and Toews up top, though Shea Theodore will be the seventh defender today.
Jordan Binnington gets the call after a bit of a shaky game vs. Czechia where he ended up being a huge reason Canada advanced and it's clear that Cooper trusts him regardless of what happened previously.
While Crosby won't be on the ice, he will be in the hearts and minds of the Canadian players and no doubt they are going to be playing with some extra motivation going into the semifinals.
