Sam Bennett missed Canada's 4-3 win against Czechia, but is likely to return against Finland.

Having been out for Canada in the quarterfinals against Czechia, Sam Bennett told reporters that the reason for him missing the fame was due to an illness.
Bennett, who had not played against the Czechs, could return against Finland tomorrow, but if he will play is currently unclear.
With captain Sidney Crosby having his status uncertain after injuring his leg in the quarterfinals following a collision with Czech defenseman Radko Gudas, it may open a spot for Bennett to return to the Canadian lineup, of course not on the top line in most likeliness.
If Bennett will play will be known ahead of tomorrow's match as Canada still awaits the final decision on whether they'll have Crosby or not, potentially deciding if Bennett suits up or not.

Canada gets further clarity on player health, roster vs Finland still uncertain

Canada will have Sam Bennett back against Finland, but the big question is if Sidney Crosby will play, leaving Canada without their veteran and captain.
Head Coach Jon Cooper said that Crosby wasn't ruled out for Friday's game, but that it wasn't yet confirmed if he would play or not.
Cooper also spoke on defenseman Josh Morrissey, who like Sam Bennett was out due to an illness, but has since been out with an injury suffered in practice.
Morrissey is not ruled out either for Canada, although the 30-year-old hasn't appeared for Canada since the group stage.
Morrissey skated earlier this morning for Canada at practice ahead of the semifinals, but his status remains unknown if he'll resume at the tournament.
Canada gets some relief with the return of Sam Bennett, but is clouded with uncertainty to Sidney Crosby and Josh Morrissey as concerns to the Canadian roster in a crucial moment.
