The Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving was spotted tuning into the Buffalo Sabres and St.Louis Blues game at 1PM today ahead of the trade deadline with potential players on his mind.

It's unclear which team he is looking at but it is very possible he's looking at both as they are both unlikely to make the playoffs.

Treliving looking at Mittlestadt and Johnson

It's possible that Treliving can keep his eye out on Sabres forward Casey Mittlestadt who is reportedly asking for a huge pay raise in his next contract which might not meet the Sabres cap hit.
To help with their defence, Leafs GM can be looking at Erik Johnson who is a veteran defenseman with Stanley Cup experience and has won it with the Avalanche in 2022.
The Leafs have clearly stated their need for defenseman and Erik Johnson might fit the fold to improve their top 4 and can be a potential partner for TJ Brodie.
Parayko and Buchnevich would also be a great addition to the Maple Leafs.
