A massive three team trade has emerged that sends two big players to new homes.

The Proposed Three Team Trade, That Sees Two Big Players Traded

The Vancouver Canucks have Andrei Kuzmenko that has been a healthy scratch several times this year and rumors are floating that the Washington Capitals are interested in him.
Friedman on Kuzmenko possibly being a healthy scratch again (TJMS): «I think Washington is a team that has looked around at Kuzmenko, I just don't see a trade match there, it's not like the Canucks are going to take Anthony Mantha»

The reason that this is a three team trade is the Canucks can not take on the contract of Anthony Mantha, but there is a team that would be willing to take his contract on for the right price.

WASHINGTON Receives: Andrei Kuzmenko

MONTREAL Receives: Anthony Mantha + a 1st or 2nd round pick

The trade sees the Canucks get cap space that they need to acquire players they want, Montreal continue to add picks to their squad and Washington collect a star winger to their roster.
