Former Maple Leaf and AHL all-time leading goal scorer has passed away at the age of 91.

Willie Marshall had a lengthy hockey career. Marshall started playing professional hockey in 1952 in 1972. Throughout his career, he logged 33 NHL games all with the Toronto Maple Leafs, and retired as the leading scorer in the AHL.





The leading goal scorer award in the AHL is known as the Willie Marshall Award.

This is a loss for the hockey community. Our thoughts are with Willie and the Marshall family. May he rest in peace.
