During a Junior Hockey game in Ontario, a dirty play that could result in a significant suspension caused quite a stir among fans.
Massive Suspension Incoming Following Dirty Play?
In a game between the Fort Erie Meteors and Port Colborne Sailors, a Sailors' player got upset and decided to jump on his opponent and remove his helmet.
The player got handed a four-game suspension, for intent to injure. For a league who's reportedly looking to ban fighting in general, this isn't a big punishment, given the violent nature of the play.
UPDATE: Doyle has received a four game suspension for Intent To Injure.
Do you think the player deserves a bigger suspension?
