Landeskog Speaks Out After Retirement Rumors

Multiple injuries hurt the Avs in the first round of the playoffs. Landeskog's was especially rough on the team.

After the news spread that he would miss the entire next season, he had some encouraging words for his fans and teammates:

"I have not contemplated retirement at all to be honest with you."

When a major injury that requires major surgery like that happens, it's only natural to think about your health and your future.

To say he doesn't think about retirement may be true, but it seems unrealistic.

We'll have to wait and see how things develop. Even a minor setback in the process could force him to hang up his skates for good.

We'll keep you updated when new developments arise.
