Trade Completed between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the New York Rangers
The New York Rangers and Columbus Blue Jackets brokered a trade involving Jack Roslovic and it is now complete following the Rangers' exit from the Stanley Cup Playoffs.
During the middle of the 2023-24 campaign, the New York Rangers traded for Jack Roslovic from the Columbus Blue Jackets with the hope that he could unlock his full potential with better linemates.
FULL TRADE:
To #CBJ-
2026 conditional 4th round pick (becomes a 3rd if New York makes the Stanley Cup final this season)
To New York Rangers-
Jack Roslovic
With the conditions on the Rangers' pick being if they made the Stanley Cup Finals or not, we now know that the pick being transferred is the New York Rangers' fourth-rounder in 2026.
Draft condition update:
The 2026 4th round pick #NYR sent to #CBJ in the Jack Roslovic trade will NOT upgrade to a 2026 3rd round pick.
Roslovic performed decently in his time with the Rangers scoring eight points in 19 regular season games and slightly improving in the playoffs scoring eight points in 16 games.
Unfortunately, the Rangers adding Roslovic was not enough for them to make the Stanley Cup Finals as they were bounced by the Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Finals.
