Top-4 Defenseman Potentially Available for the Maple Leafs
Reinforcing the Leafs Blue Line.
One of Brad Treliving's priorities this summer will be to reinforce the Leafs' blue line. They have good players, but need more for a deep playoff run.
At last night's game between the Panthers and the Golden Knights, Elliotte Friedman, during an intermission, reported that a particular player could interest the Leafs if he's available.
Flames Defenseman to Join the Leafs?
Noah Hanifin, the 26 years old defenseman has been playing in Calgary since 2018.
With only one year left on his contract, speculations surrounding a possible trade are numerous.
Per Friedman, the Flames received a lot of calls for him.
"Friedman at the intermission says you're going to hear Noah Hanifin's name a lot this offseason, 1 year left, teams are calling about him."
Since joining the Calgary Flames, Noah Hanifin has been an integral part of the team's defensive core. Known for his strong skating ability and offensive instincts, Hanifin has made a significant impact on the ice. In five season in Calgary, he scored 31 goals and 125 assists.
The Leafs would be lucky to count on a player like Hanifin.
