Hurricanes Acquire A 6th-Round Draft Pick From Senators For Rees
Reports are coming in this afternoon that the Carolina Hurricanes have traded forward Jamieson Rees to the Ottawa Senators for a draft pick.
The #Canes have acquired a 6th-round draft pick from the @Senators in exchange for Jamieson Rees.
Rees who had been playing in the AHL with the Charlotte Checkers and the Springfield Thunderbirds had struggled to find his offensive game. Rees a former second round pick in 2019 will likely head to Ottawa's AHL team in Belleville for the rest of the season. The Hurricanes get a 6th round pick for a player who had fallen out of favor in their system.
