Mitch Marner is a very special player. While his $10.903-million salary is one of the highest in the league, he is one of the best players.

At the all-star game, he did something incredible. Apart from winning the game with the Atlantic division, he notched six assists through his two games.

We're not sure if he realized it at the time, but this was actually an all-time all-star record.

Marner's six assists tops Ryan O'Reilly, Roman Josi, and Quinn Hughes who had all earned five in recent all-star games.

Dishing off some crazy passes, including a wild dish to Dylan Larkin, Marner was one of the most valuable players on the ice. Despite the fact that nobody was really trying, Marner truly shined.

Marner won't have much time to live in this spotlight, as he'll be back on the ice with the Leafs in less than a week.
