Jon Cooper shared a hilarious joke from Brad Marchand about Wayne Gretzky live on TNT last night.
The Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper was a part of the TNT broadcast last night during game 5 of the Western Conference Finals between the Dallas Stars and the Edmonton Oilers.
He was invited after he won the "Mr. TNT" title a few weeks ago. Last year, the Boston Bruins captain earned it, which led to a funny moment during last night's broadcast.
Not only did Cooper share interesting insights on current issues within the NHL, he told a great joke that came from Marchand about the Mr. TNT title.
He revealed that after winning the award, he got a text message from Marchand, with a joke about Wayne Gretzky in it:
"It was quite a moment. I texted him after and he said 'Coop, at least we have a trophy Gretzky hasn't won.'"
