In exchange for a Game 7 win, Leafs Nation makes a sacrifice to the hockey gods
Toronto Maple Leafs fans are struggling to cope with yet another Game 7 and the even bigger fear of a Game 7 loss.
So, in order to try and appeal to the hockey gods, fans of the Leafs made a tribute on Monday in hopes of finally prevailing for a Game 7 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.
The sacrifice is a vintage Wendel and Dougie era helmet with a message across the center.

Only time will tell if the hockey gods will accept this sacrifice, but it for sure is worth a try for a fan base desperate for a victory. Game 7 between the Leafs and the Canadiens will take place on Monday starting at 7 p.m. ET (6 p.m. Central Time).
