Hockey world mourns the passing of 22-year-old Craig Spence
This afternoon sad news has been revealed in the junior hockey world. Today an announcement has confirmed that 22-year-old Craig Spence of the Blenheim Blades has passed away.
In a post on social media, the Blenheim Blades confirmed that Craig Spence passed away in a car crash. During his career with the Blenheim Blades, he tallied 75 points in 36 games.
We regret to inform you that Craig Spence, player for the Blenheim Blades of the PJCHL, has passed away at the age of 22 after being a part of a car crash on the 401.
On behalf of the Ontario Junior Hockey League and our 24 Member Organizations we extend our deepest condolences to the family and friends of former Georgetown Raider Craig Spence.
During his hockey career, Craig Spence also played in the OJHL and the GOJHL. Our condolences go out to Craig Spence's family and friends as they grieve.
