According to Chris Johnston, future Toronto Maple Leafs games will require proof of vaccination or a negative COVID-19 test.
Johnston emphasised that this ban applies to both fans and employees, and will take effect in mid-September. The Toronto Raptors will enforce this policy, as will BMO Field and Real Sports.
We know this may offend people, but it isn't surprising given what has happened in other settings and with other teams. The Winnipeg Jets said last week that they will require proof of immunisation. A negative COVID-19 test was not allowed. The Edmonton Oilers may follow suit.
