Nashville Predators forward Yakov Trenin went before an arbitrator this week to find out the terms of his new contract as a restricted free agent.

The arbitrator finally made a decision and awarded him a deal worth $1.7 million per year for two seasons.

Trenin had 24 points in 80 games last season with Nashville.
