According to Sportnet's Elliotte Friedman, the Winnipeg Jets are interested in former Dallas Stars head coach Jim Montgomery.
For the past two seasons, Montgomery was the assistant coach of the St. Louis Blues.
The 52-year-old Montrealer played 122 career NHL games, including five with the Montreal Canadiens.
