Tonight is an historic night for the NHL aswell as women world wide. Aisha Visram made history tonight as the first female to work behind a bench of an NHL game.
Aisha works as the Athletic trainer for the Los Angeles kings, she worked behind the Kings bench tonight as the Kings played the Pittsburgh Penguins in Crypto.com Arena formerly know as the Staples Center.
According to the Professional Athletic Society, Aisha Visram became the first women to work a NHL regular season game behind the bench in any capacity.
Congratulations Aisha this is an amazing accomplishment for women and the sport as a whole, I think there should be more women in hockey to help the sport grow and bring more eyes to the greatest sport in the world.
