Jake Virtanen, 24, appears to have gotten himself into even more trouble with women on the day the Vancouver Canucks bought out his contract, as the Instagram account (survivorstoriesproject) announced that more women have contacted them with allegations against Virtanen.

Seven other women have contacted them since the first story was revealed, according to one of their posts. Before the woman involved decided to file a police report, the first story was shared with the account and made public. The most recent incidents allegedly span a several-year period, beginning with his junior hockey days and ending with more recent incidents. The allegations have not yet been made public in their entirety.
According to Survivor Stories Project, the women who contacted the Instagram account did so in the hopes of receiving assistance, and the account's owners have been in contact with the Vancouver Police Department since the investigations began. The first person to file a police report was a woman named "Emily," and she is now not the only one, according to the account. While police investigate "Emily's" claims, she has filed a civil suit against Virtanen.
Virtanen's NHL future is in doubt, due to both legal issues and his inability to play at the level that many expected him to.
