The puck will drop in Washington State in late-September. On Friday the Seattle Kraken announced their first pre-season schedule.

Due to renovations on Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle will play their home pre-season games in three different arenas around the State of Washington. The Kraken will play a total of six pre-season games, two against Vancouver, two against Edmonton, and two against Calgary.
Seattle's first game is on September 26th against Vancouver in Spokane, followed by a pair of away games in Edmonton and Calgary on the 28th and 29th respectively. The Kraken will then return back to Washington State where they'll play Edmonton on October 1st in Everett, and then the next day they'll take on Calgary in Kent. Seattle will then wrap up their pre-season schedule on October 5th against the Canucks.
"The arena is on track to open mid-October for our inaugural regular season game," said Tod Leiweke, Kraken CEO, "but we have made the decision to play our three inaugural preseason games at three outstanding local arenas...we couldn't be more excited for these games and then to open Climate Pledge Arena."
"These games represent the opportunity to see our roster come together for the first time outside of training camp," said Ron Francis, Kraken general manager. "It will be an honor to play them in hockey communities across the state. I know our players will be excited."
