It looks like Evander Kane could of had his own Rocky moment literally. For those who don't know, Evander Kane has signed with the Edmonton Oilers with a press conference likely tomorrow morning.

However Evander kane shared in his interview with Kayla Grey that one of his former assistant coaches Rockey Thompson wanted to 1-2 Mayweather Evander Kane in the dressing room.

The incident happened during last season when assistant coach of the San Jose Sharks wanted to challenge Kane to a fight. Evander shared this with Kayla Grey on the incident saying,

"We were in a powerplay meeting just giving our opinions on what we can do better. I gave my opinion and I think our assistant coach maybe didn't agree with it. The meeting was over... and he comes back into the locker room with his shirt off, flexing and kind of being all hyped and whatnot and challenging me to a fight. So it was... interesting. I actually didn't respond, some of the guys were laughing and thought it was funny. I thought he was joking to be honest but... I left the rink."

- Evander Kane

There's always two sides to every story we all have heard from plenty of previous teammates of Evander Kane that some didn't like his attitude. It's good thing for the San Jose Sharks they didn't fight with Rocky Thompson, a tough guy throughout his hockey career however Kane is much younger that would have been a nightmare for the Sharks to explain.
