Fined after giving Edmonton Oilers forward Evander Kane the finger, Minnesota Wild player Ryan Hartman made a nice gesture today.
Hartman received donations to pay for his fine, but decided to donate them to Children's Minnesota, a network of children's hospitals based in the Minneapolis and St. Paul area.
"Wow...I'm overwhelmed by the amount of donations I received to help pay my fine," Hartman's tweet read. You supporters are amazing. I will pay with my own money, but I wanted to let you know that any money that has been or will be sent to me by 7 p.m. Friday will be donated to Children's Minnesota." -Ryan Hartman
Kudos for the nice gesture!
