Ron MacLean apologizes regret for his remarks and maintains he was misunderstood

In essence, the joke was that in order to remove your "tarp" (shirt) during a party, you'd have to test positive for something (alcohol). MacLean was making a lighthearted drinking buddy joke that clearly didn't go down well.
