On Tuesday's Insider Trading on TSN, Pierre LeBrun reported that Kadri will be a high-profile unrestricted free agent this summer.
«He's 31 years old, which is an age that does worry some teams, but man, this guy is having an unreal year. And he's represented by Darren Ferris and we know that Ferris in the past has a pattern with pending UFAs which is to bring his guys to market. And that's the plan right now between Ferris and Kadri. Which will keep Colorado in the fold, but I think the idea is right now let's see what other teams have to offer and what kind of interest there is and then we'll get back to Colorado. It could be a big contract for Nazem Kadri.»
He is having one of the best seasons of his career with 60 points in 41 games. Kadri has become unstoppable with the Avs. It will be a very interesting summer for the 31 year old especially if he has an amazing playoffs run.
He will demand no lesser than 10M$ a year with zero discount. I wonder which team is willing to pay that for a Center leaving the peak of his career.
Will Kadri sign for over or under 10M$? Let us know below.
