Kane's abilities are undeniable. He has the ability to put the puck in the net and is a strong forechecker. If you take away his baggage, he's a very valuable hockey player. I simply have a hard time removing all of that baggage, and if I were an NHL GM, I'd be very hesitant to welcome him to my locker room.
LeBrun's TSN colleague Gord Miller claims Kane would sign a new contract by the end of the week.
Take a look:
I would be very surprised if this happens but you never know. It is a very hard thing to score in this league and Evander Kane knows how to do it.
Kane's been getting a lot of interest from several teams like the Maple Leafs, Carolina Hurricanes, Florida Panthers, Tampa Bay Lightning, Vegas Golden Knights, and the Pittsburgh Penguins.
More to come.
