With the surprise firing of Bruce Cassidy as head coach of the Boston Bruins, fans of the team are wondering who might take over the role.
According to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman, the name of Jay Leach, who served as head coach of the Providence Bruins in the AHL before making the jump to the Seattle Kraken as an assistant last season, stands out.
Leach also has NHL experience as a defenceman, having played 70 games, including two with the Bruins.
Would he be the ideal candidate? It's hard to say, but let's just say there's no shortage of choices.
