Two of the best forwards in NHL history, Sidney Crosby and Nathan MacKinnon, trained with a Canadiens prospect this summer, young defenceman Justin Barron.
When Barron was traded to Montreal last March, Crosby reacted by saying that he would never have made the trade and that it was a mistake on the part of the Avalanche.
Barron commented on the Penguins captain's comments.
I have some friends who sent me Sidney's comments. It's really cool. It's special to hear that kind of talk about us, from a guy like him too. I learn so much from him. He's just an incredible player and person. I can even tell you that he's constantly helping me improve."
Barron also says he's very fortunate to be training with Crosby and MacKinnon.
"You should see the pace they set in practice. They don't take any drill lightly and they don't miss any practice. They're true professionals and it's contagious."
Let's just say that all of this can only be beneficial for the young CH back.
