Evander Kane got some high praise from Oilers captain Connor McDavid who is very open to the addition of Kane joining the Oilers. He is also more into what Kane could bring to the Oilers on the ice more than his off ice antics.
"Kane is an amazing player he's had lots of success all over the last couple years and whatever has been going on is not something that I look into much," McDavid said. He went on to say, "The public opinion is something that matters alot, but we're here to try to win games, and try to put together a good team on the ice. And if Kenny thinks that's what he can do that's what he can do."
Edmonton Oilers general manager Ken Holland also believes the big top 6 winger could help the Oilers and was asked about Kane's baggage said, "Everyone deserves a second chance it's hard to be perfect, people make mistakes some big some small it's hard to be perfect."
