Fleury recently expressed his opinions on his time in Chicago, and he wasn't very complimentary. The veteran goaltender claimed he was humiliated by the team's performance thus far this season.

"Very frustrating, embarrassing," said Fleury as per Scott Powers of The Athletic. "Coming in, I wanted to help the team. I wanted to get some wins. We haven't won yet. We had some hype with our team, with the new acquisitions this summer, and younger guys having a little more experience this season. We all expected more out of our team, and it's been tough. It's been tough to keep smiling, keep staying positive through it. But we'll try our best with practicing trying to turn things around. We've got to get out of this hole, and soon."
Fleury's own troubles this season were widely advertised, so it's likely he was referring about himself. Fleury has a 4.63 goals against average and an.872 save % in 5 games for the Blackhawks, not what they expected when they acquired him from the Golden Knights.
