Luc Robitaille the president of the Los Angeles Kings is more than happy to have offered Danault and that he accepted.
"He deserves it, he's a good field hockey player and we needed a veteran who would be good on the ice to help our young guys play the right way. A No. 1 or No. 2 or No. 3 center...it's the ice time that's important and Danault is always going to play 18-19-20 minutes a game because he's the kind of player that makes any coach comfortable. No matter where he is on the roster, he's going to play important minutes." -Luc Robitaille
"It was important for us as an organization to have a player of his caliber to take the next step. Like we said, we did a rebuild, but this year we want to make the playoffs." -Luc Robitaille
