Evander Kane's divorce case was finally decided on Wednesday in Santa Clara County family court, and it appears that Kane is in the right.
According to Front Office Sports senior editor A.J. Perez, Kane's divorce judge ordered his estranged wife, Anna Kane, to get a psychological evaluation. Evander will now have sole custody of their 16-month-old daughter.
The judge dismissed Anna's attorney's request to question Evander about two outstanding litigation. For allegedly failing to pay $3 million for an abortion, one in Los Angeles, and one in Erie County (NY), Kane was accused of sexual assault.
Anna had recently terminated a pregnancy without notifying Kane.
«I refused to believe it. Our team trainer inquired if I read the paperwork. I had no idea there was an abortion code.»
Kane's personal life seems to have improved, but his hockey future remains uncertain.
