François Legault has confirmed that the large indoor halls and outdoor stadiums will be able to accommodate up to 2,500 spectators, including the Bell Center. This means that the Montreal Canadiens will be able to accommodate 2,500 spectators for game number six against the Maple Leafs if the series were to stretch that far.
With a capacity of over 21,000 spectators, a specific feature was added by mentioning a number of 250 people per section for the Bell Center to reduce the risk of contamination.
Should the two Canadian teams make it until the sixth game scheduled for May 29, the Bell Center would therefore welcome a large mass of spectators for the first time in more than 14 months.
