Jakub Vrana Cuts All Ties With Red Wings on Social Media
The hockey world was shocked this morning when Jakub Vrana was placed waivers.
Vrana, who was recently released from the NHLPA's Player Assistance Program, has been one of Detroit's best forwards since he joined the team.
An integral part of the 2018 Washington Capitals Cup team, the 28-year-old would be an amazing piece for any team.
His $5.25-million annual cap-hit is high, but fair for a player of his calibre.
Now, it is clear that there is some bad blood between the two parties. It was realized today that Vrana had completely wiped his Instagram of anything related to the Red Wings.
The fact that they are turning their backs on Vrana almost immediately after his stint in the players assistance program could be the cause of it. No matter what, if he is claimed, hopefully his new team will treat him better.
