With the NHL Draft in Montreal in 2022 rapidly approaching, many whistleblowers are leaking a wealth of information about upcoming trades.
The draft, as we all know, is always a time of year when big moves happen, and this year will be no exception.
Let's concentrate on this for a moment, because journalist Irfaan Gaffar just revealed some intriguing information: the 2022 draught could feature a massive trade, live from Montreal.

Several interesting elements add up:
1 - The Devils are perfectly open to trading their 2nd overall pick
2 - The Vancouver Canucks are perfectly open to trading their star forward J.T. Miller and they want to make a big move, plus get a little younger.
3 - The Devils have been very interested, for a long time, in acquiring Miller.
If you add up those three points, you possibly have a fit. It will be interesting to watch, but don't be surprised if such a trade is announced, on stage, live at the Bell Centre.
TO VANCOUVER - 2nd overall pick.
TO NEW JERSEY - JT Miller (and possibly a pick).
This would be very big, but it certainly seems possible. Who do you think would win the trade?
On the Miller side, we're still talking about a forward with 99 points this season, and who has produced at a rate of 88 points/82 games over the past 3 years. Really impressive.
He is 29 years old and signed until 2023. (5.25 million per season)
