This week, it was announced that sports apparel brand Fanatics will take over as the NHL's official on-ice uniform and authentic retail jersey supplier, starting in the 2024-25 season under a 10-year contract. This news sparked an immediate reaction from fans, who have long criticized the company's product quality.

Hockey Fans Brutally Expose Fanatics Issues On Twitter

In response to the announcement, numerous fans took to social media to express their concerns. One fan went the extra mile, comparing an Adidas jersey to a Fanatics jersey in a photograph to highlight the disparity in quality.

"Even disregarding material quality, they can't get the colors right, which is one reason people dislike them"

Another Twitter user shared photos of his Fanatics NHL jerseys with printing errors. One example was a Jared Spurgeon Minnesota Wild jersey with the name misspelled as "Spurgeno."

The second example is a New Jersey Devils jersey with Jack Hughes' name and number on the back, but Nico Hischier's number on the sleeves.

A Twitter page called "Fanatics Sucks" features a multitude of similar examples.
