The Winnipeg Jets have agreed to terms on a one-season contract with forward Sam Gagner.
The deal will pay him $750,000.
The 33-year-old veteran had a good season last year, with 31 points in 81 games with the Detroit Red Wings.
Gagner will certainly be a great replacement for Paul Stastny, who left for Carolina in recent weeks.
A native of London, Ontario, Sam Gagner is a first round pick, taken sixth overall in 2007 by the Edmonton Oilers.
