Fleury shared his feelings with journalist Jonathan Bernier of the Journal de Montréal.
"It's special. I thought the fans hated me in Montreal. Every year, I get yelled at or booed. Here, it's never my best games. It always seems like I have a rough night. I don't know why."
- Marc-Andre Fleury
'I dreamed about it, but I never thought I'd get there. I grew up admiring Brodeur and Roy, but I never thought I would get this far. The 551 wins are less important. Brodeur and Roy were my idols. For me, they are the best.''
Dream come true for Fleury and we have been blessed to see him.
Crazy how he thought Habs fans hated him!
